Getting slim for the summer is a pressure that seems to loom over us girls in society nowadays and the media is one of the biggest culprits equating to that - from images of stick thin models circling the pages of magazines to celebrities being scrutinized for putting on an extra few pounds if they are not every inch perfect, it's no wonder that so many of us are bikini body conscious as we don't fit this unrealistic picture of "perfection". We believe though that real women aren't a one size image and embrace their natural assets, so say hello to curves and a big booty because curvy is sexy. The BRIT awards 2014 || Best and Worst dressed

When it comes to a-list events, the red carpet is the fashion runway for our celebs so it's crucial their slick style is on tip top form as failure to get it wrong looms a name and shame in the worst dressed category throughout the press. Of course, it's also compulsive viewing for us fashion fanatics, so sit back and relax whilst we round up our picks of who stole the style spotlight and who left us talking for all the wrong reasons...

Best Dressed 

1. Rita Ora - dazzling in a yellow Prada dress, Rita took "hot right now" to a whole new level... 

Our favourite couple of the night - Rita Ora and Calvin Harris. Move over Posh and Becks there's a new hot couple on the block! 

2.Pixie Lott showed off her envious petite figure in a stunning white DKNY dress. 

3.Kimberley Walsh looked every inch perfect in a sheer floral maxi dress by Blumarine. 

4. Ella Henderson kept it simple yet ultra glam in a classic "LBD", however, we think a statement coloured clutch was just needed to spice this outfit up even more!

5. Beyonce sparkled in a floor length sequined dress.

Worst dressed

1. Jessie J - we can not help but wonder what Jessie J was thinking when opting for a pale lilac lipstick, not only does the ghastly colour make her look pale and washed out, it changes the whole dynamic of an actually stunning Julian Macdonald jumpsuit. 

2. Ellie Goulding - Ellie made her princess fantasy real life in this Vivienne Westwood dress, however, we just feel its a bit too much waist downwards for our liking!  

3. Lily Allen - Trainers with a dress or a bra style top? We can't decide which is worse!

4. Nicole Scherzinger - known for her amazing sense of style, Nicole normally ticks all the boxes for us in every department, however, this black bondage style outfit left us wondering where our glam girly disappeared to!? 

5. Laura Mvula - The short length at the front of the dress combined with ostrich style ruffles made us question this outfit choice.

Best dressed celebrity couples of 2013

The world of celebrity is oozing with super stylish celebrity couples at the moment; so this week we have decided to give you our pick on those luscious lovebirds whose flawless personal style sizzles on and off the red carpet on a continual basis.  

1. Victoria and David Beckham - 

 

Posh and Becks are fashion royalty as far as the celebrity worlds goes; David opts for a smart sophisticated suit while Victoria dazzles in a halter neck midi-dress with a pop of this seasons colour dusky pink. Can this couple get any more hotter?

 

2. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West -

 

Kim and Kanye are one super hot couple; Kim flaunts her curves in an on trend PVC nude pencil skirt teamed with a simple white tee and nude heels. Kanye styled a long V-neck grey jumper with ripped denim jeans, brown boots and a gold chain for added bling.

 

 3. Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan -

 

Possibly one of the most beautiful celebrity couples ever to exist, Mark and Michelle tick all the boxes for us when it comes down to that all important wardrobe. Mark chooses a classy fitted pinstriped suit whilst Michelle shines in an elegant sparkly floor length dress.

 

 4. Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl -

 

Reality TV star Olivia and model boyfriend Johannes are one perfectly polished couple. We love Olivia's black leather dress teamed with a gorgeous clutch and cute heels. Joahannes looks effortless in a grey suit teamed with a contrast of dark brown shoes.
