Kim Kardashian inspired make-up look ♥

Christmas is around the corner (5 weeks today in fact!) which only means one thing in our calendar....hello party season! From work do's to family parties, now is the time to purchase our outfits, plan our hair and practise our make-up looks - if only it was that simple! As you may or may not know, Kim Kardashian has been a massive style inspiration upon Pretty Pink Princess dresses, featuring many of her trademark styles such as, plunge necks, cut-out sections and gorgeous bodycon fittings. A statement LBD such as the Pretty Prudence (featured below) is perfect for those festive parties, combining a classic black dress with an ultra glam edge. Make sure you head over to website and check it out girls by clicking here.
To help give you full party perfection and a sprinkle of Kim Kardashian glamour, here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to get a simple bronzed smokey eye and big red lips like Kim herself!

For this look I thought it would be a good idea to use an affordable eye shadow quad instead of using multiple high end eyes shadows - that way you only need this one quad to achieve this look! I will be using the Maybelline Diamond Glow in 02 Coral Drama.

Step 1 - Take the lightest eye shadow in the quad - the white sparkly colour and apply this to the inner corner of your eye like below.
Step 2- Next take  the light bronze colour next to it in the quad and apply this to the left of the white eye shadow.

Step 3 - Next take the next colour in the quad, the darker bronze shade, and apply this to the crease of your eye. Make sure you really blend this in and keep building it up.

Step 4-  Next using a small eye shadow brush, take the final colour in the pallet (the darkest one) and make a line like this " <  " in the outside corner of your eye. Blend well.  Take a liquid eye liner and line the top of your eye like in the picture below.

Step 5 - Next apply a pair of fake eyelashes - wait for them to dry and make sure they feel secure ( tip - on a cold low setting blast the hairdryer over them) then add a coat of mascara to the top and bottom of your lashes. Grab your eye shadow brush and sweep a little of the light bronze colour used in step 2 under your bottom lash line. After this step take a lip liner and line your lips - I used red by MAC - then take a red lipstick ( I am using a mixture of scarlet ibis and Russian red by MAC). You should then have something like the pictures below >>

Hope you like this look - if you have any questions please feel free to ask!
