Hair Tutorial || Half up and half down glam hair

Big hair is a compulsory look for night outs as far as I'm concerned, it gives that added sprinkle of glamour that us girls just can't resist. With the party season in full swing, I've been trying out all sorts of big hair styles at the moment and this one pictured below has been a firm favourite. This look will be perfect teamed with one of our gorgeous Pretty Pink Princess dresses such as 'Pretty Peach' which has just landed in the sale going from 69.99 to now just 49.99. So grab yourself a bargain New Years Eve dress whilst you can! Link here.

Step 1 - Pull forward the front section of your hair like pictured below. Grab a paddle brush or comb and lightly backcomb this underneath section. Secure with a spray of hairspray.
Step 2 - Next, grab another section of hair from behind the hair you have just backcombed and repeat step 1. If you have a lot of hair like me, repeat this step again with the next section of hair behind this piece.
Your hair should now look something along the lines of this...
Step 3- Next flip the front section of hair backwards and you should then get something like pictured below...
Step 4 - Now to sort out the side sections. Grab your paddle brush or comb and backcomb underneath your hair then spray with hairspray. *Note - Always backcomb underneath appose to on the top of the hair as you don't want to see backcomb and frizz on top of your hair* Repeat this on both sides.
Step 5-  Take some hair grips and grip your first side section back. Try and grip your hair so that your hairgrips aren't visible - get someone to help you with this if you can't do it yourself as it is quite tricky when you can't see the back of your head!  It should then look something like below. Again repeat this step on the other side of your hair. Secure with a spray of hairspray.
Step 6 - Once you have gripped both sides of your hair back make sure you have sprayed the up section with hairspray so it holds in place. Grab your straighteners and run through your hair to ensure the bottom bit is looking straight and frizz free.

Hope you like it girlies!
