The BRIT awards 2014 || Best and Worst dressed

When it comes to a-list events, the red carpet is the fashion runway for our celebs so it's crucial their slick style is on tip top form as failure to get it wrong looms a name and shame in the worst dressed category throughout the press. Of course, it's also compulsive viewing for us fashion fanatics, so sit back and relax whilst we round up our picks of who stole the style spotlight and who left us talking for all the wrong reasons...

Best Dressed 

1. Rita Ora - dazzling in a yellow Prada dress, Rita took "hot right now" to a whole new level... 

Our favourite couple of the night - Rita Ora and Calvin Harris. Move over Posh and Becks there's a new hot couple on the block! 

2.Pixie Lott showed off her envious petite figure in a stunning white DKNY dress. 

3.Kimberley Walsh looked every inch perfect in a sheer floral maxi dress by Blumarine. 

4. Ella Henderson kept it simple yet ultra glam in a classic "LBD", however, we think a statement coloured clutch was just needed to spice this outfit up even more!

5. Beyonce sparkled in a floor length sequined dress.

Worst dressed

1. Jessie J - we can not help but wonder what Jessie J was thinking when opting for a pale lilac lipstick, not only does the ghastly colour make her look pale and washed out, it changes the whole dynamic of an actually stunning Julian Macdonald jumpsuit. 

2. Ellie Goulding - Ellie made her princess fantasy real life in this Vivienne Westwood dress, however, we just feel its a bit too much waist downwards for our liking!  

3. Lily Allen - Trainers with a dress or a bra style top? We can't decide which is worse!

4. Nicole Scherzinger - known for her amazing sense of style, Nicole normally ticks all the boxes for us in every department, however, this black bondage style outfit left us wondering where our glam girly disappeared to!? 

5. Laura Mvula - The short length at the front of the dress combined with ostrich style ruffles made us question this outfit choice.

Beach hair inspiration

The UK's stormy wet weather is making us day-dream about our summer vacays more than ever at the moment, so we thought we would share some of our summer vibes with you by bringing you some beautiful beach hair inspo. Although we love to soak up the sun and relax, our hair is still center stage on the beach; From simple fish tail braids, plaits, natural waves tussled with a spritz of sea salt spray to French plaited up-do's. Lights, camera, action.... It's that time again at Pretty Pink Princess headquarters this month, yes, you guessed it >> shooting our brand new collection! Fitness || "summer body" prep inspired by Jennifer Selter

Now that January is over, the reality of the summer looming closer is officially insight (4 months and counting!!) and in girl calendar this means only one thing - summer body prep and mission bikini body is on our mind more than ever! Let's face it, we all want that envious super toned bikini body where we not only feel body confident and gorgeous but can flaunt it off in a stunning pretty pink princess bikini - but getting that dream body doesn't happen over night and like anything in life will only be possible with hard work, determination and persistence. Anything is achievable though and if you want it you can get it!

To help give you that boost and drive that you need, we have decided to give you some inspiration and all important motivation from fitness queen herself Jennifer Selter.  Warm Up

50 jumping jacks...

10 front kicks ( each leg)

15 hip bridges

30 second hamstring stretch hold each leg

workout ( repeat 3x) 

10 squats

10 plie squats

20 leg lifts on all fours (each leg)

10 lunges ( each side )

10 squats

20 leg lift pulses ( each leg )

15 donkey kicks ( each leg)

 

For dazzling abs try one of Jen's - Ab work-outs

 25 crunches

 25 bicycle crunches

 20 reverse crunches

 30 sec high knees

1 minute plank

 Rest at the end for 20-30 seconds then repeat 3-5x
