DIY || Christmas Nails
Can you believe Christmas is 4 more sleeps away?! Nope, me neither, it has come around way too quick! This week has been such a hectic one with last minute Christmas shopping and everything else - so apologies for the late post. To get in the Christmas spirit I decided to get my creative hat on and design some festive nail art to glam up my nails ready for Christmas! They are actually super easy to do, so if you are looking to add a touch of festivity to your nails, continue reading to find out how!
Snowflake and festive pattern design
You will first of all need to paint your nails with a base colour of your choice. Ensure you give each nail a good two coats and that it is fully dry before applying your nail art. The Santa nail is slightly different so I shall explain that below.
After your nails are dry you will need some nail art pens, these are available from boots or super-drug, I am using the Barry M ones. Simply press down with the pen on your nails and draw your design. If like me your artistic skills are lacking, then practice on a piece of paper with your nail art pens first.
Santa Nails
First of all take a red nail varnish and paint a little section at the bottom of your nail - this will resemble the hat. You will then need to wait for this to dry. After the red is dry, you then want a nude nail varnish, paint a small middle section, and again wait until it is dry. After the nude is dry you then want to finish off the hat by adding a white rim right underneath the red nail varnish. Underneath the nude section you then want to paint the rest of the nail white as this will represent santa's beard. After this is dry, take a white nail art pen and draw two small circles onto the nude section - this will be the eyes. Wait for that to dry and then using a black nail art pen put a small dot in the white circle. For the nose use your red nail varnish and carefully make a little dot. Finally draw a smile using the black nail art pen in the white beard section.
To finish, apply a top coat to all of your nails to give a glossy shine. Here is the finishing result of my nails -
Hope you enjoy! Happy Christmas everybody.

Hair Tutorial || Half up and half down glam hair
Step 1 - Pull forward the front section of your hair like pictured below. Grab a paddle brush or comb and lightly backcomb this underneath section. Secure with a spray of hairspray.
Step 2 - Next, grab another section of hair from behind the hair you have just backcombed and repeat step 1. If you have a lot of hair like me, repeat this step again with the next section of hair behind this piece.
Your hair should now look something along the lines of this...
Step 3- Next flip the front section of hair backwards and you should then get something like pictured below...
Step 5- Take some hair grips and grip your first side section back. Try and grip your hair so that your hairgrips aren't visible - get someone to help you with this if you can't do it yourself as it is quite tricky when you can't see the back of your head! It should then look something like below. Again repeat this step on the other side of your hair. Secure with a spray of hairspray.
Hope you like it girlies!

1. Victoria and David Beckham -
Posh and Becks are fashion royalty as far as the celebrity worlds goes; David opts for a smart sophisticated suit while Victoria dazzles in a halter neck midi-dress with a pop of this seasons colour dusky pink. Can this couple get any more hotter?
2. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West -
Kim and Kanye are one super hot couple; Kim flaunts her curves in an on trend PVC nude pencil skirt teamed with a simple white tee and nude heels. Kanye styled a long V-neck grey jumper with ripped denim jeans, brown boots and a gold chain for added bling.
3. Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan -
Possibly one of the most beautiful celebrity couples ever to exist, Mark and Michelle tick all the boxes for us when it comes down to that all important wardrobe. Mark chooses a classy fitted pinstriped suit whilst Michelle shines in an elegant sparkly floor length dress.

Reality TV star Olivia and model boyfriend Johannes are one perfectly polished couple. We love Olivia's black leather dress teamed with a gorgeous clutch and cute heels. Kim Kardashian inspired make-up look ♥
Christmas is around the corner (5 weeks today in fact!) which only means one thing in our calendar....hello party season! From work do's to family parties, now is the time to purchase our outfits, plan our hair and practise our make-up looks - if only it was that simple! As you may or may not know, Kim Kardashian has been a massive style inspiration upon Pretty Pink Princess dresses, featuring many of her trademark styles such as, plunge necks, cut-out sections and gorgeous bodycon fittings. A statement LBD such as the Pretty Prudence (featured below) is perfect for those festive parties, combining a classic black dress with an ultra glam edge. Make sure you head over to website and check it out girls by clicking here.
To help give you full party perfection and a sprinkle of Kim Kardashian glamour, here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to get a simple bronzed smokey eye and big red lips like Kim herself!
For this look I thought it would be a good idea to use an affordable eye shadow quad instead of using multiple high end eyes shadows - that way you only need this one quad to achieve this look! I will be using the Maybelline Diamond Glow in 02 Coral Drama.
Step 1 - Take the lightest eye shadow in the quad - the white sparkly colour and apply this to the inner corner of your eye like below.
Step 2- Next take the light bronze colour next to it in the quad and apply this to the left of the white eye shadow. Step 3 - Next take the next colour in the quad, the darker bronze shade, and apply this to the crease of your eye. Make sure you really blend this in and keep building it up.
Step 4- Next using a small eye shadow brush, take the final colour in the pallet (the darkest one) and make a line like this " < " in the outside corner of your eye. Blend well. Take a liquid eye liner and line the top of your eye like in the picture below.
Step 5 - Next apply a pair of fake eyelashes - wait for them to dry and make sure they feel secure ( tip - on a cold low setting blast the hairdryer over them) then add a coat of mascara to the top and bottom of your lashes. Grab your eye shadow brush and sweep a little of the light bronze colour used in step 2 under your bottom lash line. After this step take a lip liner and line your lips - I used red by MAC - then take a red lipstick ( I am using a mixture of scarlet ibis and Russian red by MAC). You should then have something like the pictures below >>
Hope you like this look - if you have any questions please feel free to ask!

How to get Nicole Scherzinger's 'Shamazing' big hair
Nicole Scherzinger has been the talk of the town lately; not only for her 'to die' for wardrobe but now for her shamazing HUGE hair, which is causing major hair envy among us girls.
The Xfactor pulled out the classic 'Disco theme' this weekend in which Nicole embraced down to a tee. The sensationally stunning judge teamed massive 70's inspired curly hair alongside a low-cut sparkly midnight blue dress.
Nicole Scherzinger has been a massive style inspiration within this seasons new collection from Pretty Pink Princess. 'Pretty Blue Sparkles' in particular features a low-cut neck, sequins and a figure hugging bodycon fit which will be sure to turn plenty of heads this party season! It is available to buy on the website now so click here to take a look!
Alongside this gorgeous shimmering sequin number team big 'shamazing hair' - Here is a quick step by step tutorial on how to get MASSIVE hair like Nicole.
Step 1 - First of all you will need a thin barrelled wand as pictured below - (it is important that the barrel is thin as this is what is going to create them small tight curls!) Next take a small section of hair like pictured below. For this look you are going to be using lots of small sections of hair to curl (try not to curl thick sections as you want lots of curls, this is what creates the volume and thickness - so it requires a bit of patience!)
Step 2 - Wrap your hair around the wand away from you (if that makes sense), if you look in the picture of the direction I am curling my hair this might help you. Make sure you curl the whole way up your hair - so you want a curl from root to the end of your hair. Be sure to curl the end bits ( I know I am holding the end here, but after you have let this curl drop go back over so that the end is curled and not straight. Repeat the curling technique all around your hair so that it is all curled.
After you have curled a few it should look like this -
Step 3 - When you have finally curled all of your hair, tip your head upside down and spray sparingly with hairspray (this will give you lots of volume!). Finally, give a quick spray all over your hair and hopefully you should get something like this....
Hope you found this useful!
